New (and original !) hero = good. New PvE-only content (as source of further PvE\PvP diversion) = bad. Tough choice...

Well aside from the fact that a 3rd Dervish hero is completely useless to me, I wonder really if anybody was waiting for a hero team with 3 dervishes?

And then there is the slight issue of there being a luxon hero but no kurzick hero. One would've thought it, well let's say fair and considerate, to kurzick players that they would've taken the opportunity to bring out a kurzick hero instead of a golem.

So one could ask, is Anet really that inconsiderate or are they too thick to see that it would've been nice of them to give the kurzick players a hero too?

Both faction sides are retarded so why should it matter what side a hero, whos going to be following you around all the time, is on. Between a Gloomy Human and a Golem, the Golem wins.

We have 25 heroes already of which we can use 3 at a time. I say that because it makes you wonder why they thought people wanted another hero.
We already have 2 dervish heroes, so I asked the question who wanted a 3rd dervish cause I really don't know anybody who does or why.
Lastly, coming back to the question of what reason there possibly could be for bringing out yet another hero, is perhaps rectifying a small injustice. Obviously not every kurzick player is gonna care about a hero, just like not everybody wants this hero.

I am a rpg player for many years now and I suppose I can see that those who don't really have the tendency to delve into characters, settings and storylines may see it as pointless to care about something like this, but to me it does matter. My opinion, my point of view, nothing more.

I agree that the two factions have been poorly worked out but I always liked the kurzick feel and armours and to have one or more heroes that actually can represent that would be cool to me. Whether it is by having actual kurzick heroes or have kurzick (and luxon) armour skins is something that I could be happy with.
Hell , I would be happy if my derv and para were able to get kurzick armour, but that's another thread.

But to me the golem sucks as it adds nothing useful to the game, specifically because it is a derv. I'll get it to add to my HoM and then never use it.

I can't put it any clearer than that.

actually, if i recall correctly, xandra WAS a luxon, as she is, at the time you get her on your team, exiled. So she shouldnt be counted as a great example of a luxon on your team... Dont think theres a reason to be so angry theres a luxon hero and not a kurzick one.
Also, if a kurzick hero were to exist (and quite frankly, a mesmer kurzick hero would seem a nice match, and would make all professions have 3 heros), they would have to explain how a kurzick and a luxon can fight side by side, since xandra already is on the team.
Then again, that wouldnt be so hard, considering the pyre/gwen thing...

I've been a Kurzick for 2 years already. I don't want another useless hero. Unless you make him/her a Paragon.

Well, since players can be luxon and kurzick at the same time (as in doing AB and quest on both sides and get both allegiance titles) I am sure that they can find a way to fit it in. But all in all I think I would be happy with armour skins for heroes from both kurzick and luxon area's. Even though Anet completely messed up the faction thing in game terms I was always more taken with the kurzick side. Just to give my hero team that style would be cool to me.

But don't worry about luxons and kurzicks working together...Anet already opened that door....wide open.

Another Paragon Hero would be superb. But then, 1 player paragon + 3 hero paragon will of course make the PvE much more easier.

I'm sure someone has made this comment already but I didn't feel like searching through pages and pages of replies to find it.

I really don't see why they keep adding heros when we can only have 3 in our party anyway. Yes it gives us more variety, but unless they plan to give us the ability to go all hero teams, I really don't see why they are adding more heros to the game.

Easy. 3 slots: 3 dervishes.
Now 2 dervish players can go in an all Dervish team.

Now the only ones left are paragons, assassins and ritualists.

A full assassin party must be a lot of fun.
